Custom Die Cut Stickers
Die Cut Stickers are composed using a computer guided plotter which reads points and lines of the specified vector art. Using these points and line, a small blade attached to the cutter scores the vinyl (on a roll at this point) just deep enough to cut through material, but not through the backing paper.
Once the plotter has completed scoring the design, each decal is then hand weeded, removing all pieces that are not part of the finished design. Once the weeding is completed, we apply application tape (transfer tape) over the top of the decal, and trim it to final size.
The application tape allows the completed decal to be removed from the backing paper without losing spacing, or aspects of the design. Once the sticker is applied, the transfer tape is removed and thrown away to reveal the installed sticker.
Die cut decals are ideal for ONE COLOR designs.
Additional Information Acceptable File Types: .EPS or .AI (Usually Produced From Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, or any other vector based program) A design fee may apply to file types other than those listed in order to prepare for cutting.
Available Sizes: For most letter styles (Varies by Design), the minimum letter height is .5" (1/2 inch). We can produce Die Cut Decals as large as 48" Tall by 150' Long.
Minimum Quantities: For Decals 27" in length and shorter, there is a minimum of 25 Pieces. Minimum Quantity decreases as the desired design enlarges. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Materials: All Die Cut Decals are made of adhesive backed outdoor vinyl with an outdoor life expectancy of 5-7 years.
Turn Around: Most orders are shipped within 48 hours. For larger orders, or under special conditions, we will notify you at the time of purchase as to the expected ship date. We are often praised on our fast turn around time.
